About the Guild

The Saskatoon Quilters’ Guild (SQG) is a group that gathers together to:

Contribute to the knowledge and promotion of quilts and quilting in the community,

Sponsors and supports quilting activities and socializing for the members

Inspires quilters by sharing quilting techniques, ideas, methods and textiles.

Membership

Membership is open to everyone. Benefits of membership include the use of our library, early registration and fee discounts for classes, discounts at many quilt and art supply shops, and sharing your love of quilting.

History of the Guild

Saskatoon Quilters' Guild has existed since 1982. Our members have met in many different facilities over the years. Each year the guild has continued to evolve and change, adding fun activities and learning opportunities for our guild membership and the Saskatoon community.

Meetings

What can you expect when you come to meetings? Our executive is committed to providing Hybrid meetings which means members unable to attend in person will be able to participate through the Zoom platform. When we meet in person you will be greeted and welcomed at the door. We often introduce guests and new members, have a short announcement period and then have some sort of activity or presentation. We have a refreshment break followed by Show and Tell.
