In-Person Sewing Days

Sept. 23, 2024 – Sewing day & Introduction to the Guild Challenge: a “sew-along” or sew as you wish – two lap size quilt patterns will be unveiled. Each sewing day you can bring this challenge to work on or to receive help from Cathy and Jean.

 

October 21 – Sewing Day & Demo – Flying geese and HST sewing techniques – faster and easier!

 

November 18 – Sewing Day and Project: Mug Rugs

 

January 20, 2025 – Sewing Day

 

February 10 – Sewing Day and Project: Rope Bowls

 

March 24 – Sewing Day and Project: Tea Towel Topper

 

April 21 – Sewing Day and Project: Bowl Cozy

 

May 12 – Sewing Day and Demo: Anita’s Arrowhead block – Fireball Block

 

We ask that you sign up for any of the Guilders’ Goodies and the Lap Quilt sew-along so Cathy and Jean can prepare hand-outs.

 

There will be a minimum of 6 participants for a “go” for the Guilders’ Goodies. The sign-up will be available the month prior to the sewing day. No instructions will be mailed out.

 

Everyone is invited.

The information for the Guild Challenge and the Guilders Goodies will be posted on the Guild Website and Jocelyn will guide those who want to work on them during the virtual sew day.

 

Everyone is invited to join the virtual sew day for a short time or the whole session from 9 am – 3 pm SK Time.

 

The Zoom Link will be sent out the week before by email
