Challenges are often arranged for guild members to encourage creativity, development of new skills and fun.

Guilders’ Goodies are a chance for members to get together and sew, or to learn a new technique. Goodies are scheduled for the mornings before many of our Guild meetings. These information sessions are for SQG Members only and are free of charge.

Our guild hosts workshops with topics and techniques of interest to our members.  Members are given first choice to participate and space permitting, non-members are welcome.

Our guild sponsors a yearly spring retreat for our members. The retreat is usually held in a location outside Saskatoon. There are classes, presentations and free sewing time. Meals and rooms are provided as well as lots of laughs.

This award honours those members who have exhibited significant, long-term dedication and advancement to the art of quilting and to our guild.

SQG sponsors a yearly scholarship which encourages members to increase their quilting knowledge and skills. Scholarship winners are invited to share their experience with  fellow guild members.
