Serendipity’s goal: “Warming the community one quilt at a time.”
2019-2020 Serendipity Sewing Days
Serendipity Sewing Days:
2019: Sept. 14 • Nov. 16 • Dec. 07
2020: Jan. 11 • Feb. 15 • Mar. 21 • Apr. 18 (AGM) • May 09 (meeting)
Everyone is welcome to attend. You do not need to be an SQG member to participate in Serendipity, or their sewing days. Everyone is welcome to come out and sew, press, cut or just visit.
Sewing days are held at All Saints Anglican Church, 1801 Lorne Avenue. Please come in the doors on 1st Street East which is on the north side of the building. The work room is located down the stairs and to your left.
Our set up time will be 8:30 am with clean up and exit by 1:30 pm.
Serendipity is a group of like-minded women, both members and non-members of the Saskatoon Quilters Guild, who make 300-400 quilts each year.
These quilts are distributed throughout the Saskatoon Community, with the focus recipients being women and children. Much of the fabric is donated. ALL of the hours are donated.
