Sommerfeld Family

Elaine Sommerfeld was a very active, long time member of the Saskatoon Quilters' Guild. She was passionate about quilting, especially applique and hand quilting, sharing her talent of teaching other quilters. Her family's generous donation, of the sale proceeds of her sewing room, has allowed the Saskatoon Quilters Guild to offer a cash prize in hand quilting, in her name at the next three consecutive biennial quilt shows.
