About Serendipity

Serendipity is a group of women, Guild members and other volunteers, who meet to construct quilts for charities.

Serendipity donates quilts to the following organizations and charities:

  • Adelle House
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Healthy Mom, Healthy Baby
  • Kids First
  • Tamara's House
  • YWCA Shelter
  • and individuals in need due to fire, illness or other life challenges

In 2006/07, we presented over 300 quilts to charities; in 2007/08, we presented 133 quilts.

Serendipity will donate 27 quilts to Denny Carr's Secret Santa at the 2009 Quilt Show [link available when show page made public].

Visitors to the show can bid for quilts at the Grand Opening ceremony auction, silent auction, and enter a draw for one quilt by donating to Secret Santa.

Donations of cotton fabric, batting or thread are appreciated. We also accept blocks, tops, or started projects, up to finished quilts.
