Previous page This quilt is an Evelyn Sloppy design, from her book "Strips and Strings". Strippy hourglasses. Strippy hourglass quilt with teddy bears. Mile a Minute quilt. This technique looks a lot like crumb piecing, but it really is done more like a log cabin, then it is wonked off at an angle to give the quilt more movement. This is a great stash busting project. Bright stars. The scrappy stars block was our first Serendipity block of the month. Notice the blue fabric that it is the centre of each star, which is the fabric that was supplied with the pattern. The other requirement was to keep the colours bright! Susan Wittrup pieced the blocks together. We had next to no yellow at the meeting, but she made it work! Yellow Brick Road in pastels, front and back views Strippy quilt, rail fence variation. Centre part donated by Periwinkle, I believe. Redwork quilt. Blocks done after an afternoon meeting lead by Debbie Bauman. Many contributors made the redwork penny squares. Isabelle McDonald and friends put the quilt together. String HSTs left over from another project are paired effectively with white fabric in this quilt. String pinwheel quilt, started by Sandy Cook in a triangle class, worked on by Sharron Yaroshko, and finished by others in the group. Previous page
